Reserved cart with timer

I need an option to add a reserved cart with a timer for my customers. I sell unique art pieces at pre-notified times, which sell out in minutes. I have many customers who add an item to their cart, go through the checkout process only to find that the item they were trying to purchase has been sold to someone else. Can we have an option or app to add that would reserve selected products in a customer's cart for a set amount of time, with a visable timer? On the product page, it could read 'reserved for 1...2...3 etc minutes until it's sold.

That's the best place to let our Product team know there's something you'd like added or changed, and it gives other Community members a chance to add kudos to the post to show support for it.
