Product review email issue 2020

Hi @Adam @Bernadette ,

My issue is connected to Automated Product Email Reviews. I did a quick research within the community and found out that the the same issue was raised in 2017, 2018 but had no fix.

To make it short, here is the outline:

My reviews are enabled ( Items > Reviews - set to enabled)

I have customized the content inside Item Review email under Setting > Email Setup

However, I have 2 questions:

Q1. Where is a customer redirected to after clicking "Write a review" button?

Where do I see what was written?

Q2. Can I send the email manually?

Thanks for your questions, @JaneCraft

Those buttons link to unique dynamically created pages where customers can leave a review for that specific product. The reviews should show up in your store settings in Items > Reviews, though, where you can approve them or reject them.  There isn't a way right now to manually request a review, though.

@Adam thanks for replying Adam.

What happens after I approve the review/s, where does it end up next? 

I want to make sure that other customers also see the reviews.

Once you approve them, the reviews will be shown on the product page itself underneath the description.
