Local Pick Up creation?

How do i add a "Local pick up" option in the shipping section.

At the moment i have an option to use a courier, but of we have customers in our area we would like an option there to pick the goods up to save on shipping costs.

Hey @Kapster!  Are you using price or weight for your current shipping options? In order to add a local pickup, you just need to create a rate that will always be available.  For example, a rate based on price that covers $0 - $100000 (or any price high enough that it would cover any possible order) and is $0 for the price.

Just another thing regarding pick ups.. I'm thinking about having 3 local pick up points. 

Where would be the best place to show our pick up addresses?

Some place where it's shown on all pages of the site would be best - perhaps the footer?  I'd also add it to your shipping instructions, and maybe use the "note to seller" field for people to specify which one they'd like.

Thanks for the answer to their question, both worked! Now, here's my add on:

How do we make the system show the shipping address as a pickup, or to default to the pickup location, and not ask us to make a shipping label?

I'm not sure that there's a way to make it do that right now, unfortunately. You could suggest that on our Vote on Features board, though.
