Hide the cart

I don't want the cart to show up our main headers for our landing page. How do I hide it--until someone buys something?

Hi Adam!

I am having trouble finding the "Store Mode" option to set to "Buy Now."

Under Store > Setup I have: checkout/shipping/pickup/taxes/general under which I don't see anything for "Store Mode."

Could you please help me locate this toggle!

I was having the same issue, and I finally fixed it.

Try looking under Settings > Checkout > Advanced Settings > Checkout Mode > and change from "Add to cart" to "Buy now". I then went into the site editing and re-published just to be sure, and now the cart is gone!

Hi Guys,

I am having same issie but I can't see Advance Setting under Settings > Checkout, so I can follow previous adive to delete it by Settings > Checkout > Advanced Settings > Checkout Mode > and change from "Add to cart" to "Buy now". Any more suggeston?

Finally, I manage to got Advanced Settings under Settings > Checkout, to get it, you must have one of the checkout option fully configured. So I complete setup qith Square Checkout and then I got  Advanced Settings option and then able to remove cart from menu.

Hi Chirag, same issue, did you ever sort it out? I can go to 'settings' but then I don't see 'checkout' so I'm stuck from there. I changed the site category from 'shop' to 'business' but this does not seem to help.  Hopefully there is anybody who can help. Thank you!

Hi, @Barbara01. Are you looking within the website editor or the dashboard? On your Dashboard look down on the left side and go to Shared Settings > Checkout > Advanced settings.

I want people to be able to buy more than 1 item, but I do not want the cart in the menu as it pushing menu items to second row and I do NOT want the More menu item.

I have changed it back to Buy Now, but that defeats the purpose, we are a charity and need to encourage people to buy more than one item.

I just want to remove the cart from the menu if there are no items in the cart. 

How do we do this?????

Since Square has taken over Weebly, they automatically added a cart to the nav bar. To remove the cart, I went to Setting>Checkout>. At the top, you'll see "SQUARE" all the way to the right you'll see "connected" and an option to disconnect. I chose that one.
Below, I unselected Stripe and Paypal.

I no longer have a cart. Not sure if all three need to be disconnected. It might just require diconnecting Square Payment.

Thanks for sharing, @HenryH Smiley Happy This is a great work around for sites that do not have a reason for a connected payment processor. 

For anyone that does need the payment processor connected, click on the Advanced Settings option to turn off Customer Accounts.
