Digital download exceeding problems
Hi all,
On occasion I have some buyers of digital content who advise that when they click on the download link within the order generating email that they received a error that the limit of downloads has been exceeded. Any ideas about a) what could cause the problem, and b) whether there is any tracking capability of when and where the downloads were actually undertaken? Thank you.

If you open an account with Statcounter (free or paid) and add their code to your website's footer code box they will automatically track any downloads by date/time IP address, geographical location, computer type, browser etc. The free account saves logs for the last 500 visitors. Paid saves all logs.
I'm not associated with Statcounter, I've just used them for nearly 10 years.
Hope this helps, Gary
