Customers not receiving member registration invitation email

Hi there,

A NEW customer claims they did not recieve a 'Member Invite' email. When I have tested the function of the 'invite' email with test purchases from multiple browsers and accounts, I have never NOT recieved the invite email.

Under what circumstances might a customer not get the email? I don't know how to recreate this as it has always worked whn tested. I suspect other customers may have encountered the same issue though noone has directly said that they didn't recieve it.

And anyone encounter the same issue? Or manage to recreate it?

(The customer said they checked spam/junk and it wasn't there either....)

Hi Cat. It could be a temporary issue with her incoming mail servers. For example, if they are backed up or pending in a queue. Is she doesn't see them is spam or trash, she might want to also check her marketing or promotions tab. For example, my basic gmail has a default inbox, spam, social and promotions tab. Sometimes I'll try to request a password reset for something and it will end up in promotions. I'm not quite sure why this is, although I'm sure at some point I've messed around with the settings in gmail. 

Other than that, the only thing I can think is to have her white list the emails from Weebly.  Delivering emails to the inbox can be tricky and there are some situations where the emails may be blocked or delayed by the email provider. Unfortunately, this is completely up to the email provider. If she cannot find the messages in her Inbox or Spam folders, and believes the messages really aren't coming through, then she will want to whitelist a couple of our emails. And then see if she is able to whitelist the following e-mails:
