Cookies message keeps appearing on every page

Hi Weebly

The Cookies consent message appears to pop up on every page now even after clicking it off on one page.

Did you customize the content of the cookie message, @mikeg? I opened a ticket with our engineers recently about this - it seemed to only happen if the cookie message was changed to something other than the default.

I have the same problem – cookies msg on every page – and I have not modified the msg. How can I keep the msg on my home page (or any page/s I choose) and not have it on other pages?

Thx

Can you contact our support team about that, @Dante46? That might be a slightly different issue from what happened to Mike.

Hello! Sorry for the trouble. If you're still seeing that come up with the default message, definitely get in touch with our team directly. They can check it out in a little more detail with you.

Hi. Was this sorted out? I've been getting the same issue and I'd rather not raise a new note if there's an answer out there already.

Hello paulk! This is currently something our team is sorting out. You will definitely want to contact, if you haven't already.

I have this problem, too, and I don't see a solution provided. This is a real problem for the site visitors as the pop-up effectively blocks access to the pull-down menu on EVERY PAGE.

Hi there

I don't see the cookie notification on your site. Did you temporarily disable it? You do also have the option to display at the bottom of your site if that helps?

Hi. Same question as 11 months ago. Still got the cookie consent come up on every page (unless I turn it off completely). Annoying to me, so probably also to site visitors.

Had you modified the default cookie text? I seem to recall in the past that this only was an issue when the cookie text was modified.

Absolutely shocking performance by Weebly. No ability to turn off Cookies now in Europe, and its appearing on every page and wont go away. Its blocing the dropdowns on every page and has disappered the logo and shortcut menu on tablet. Most of my customers are non mobile. I can't sell !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wake up and test this stuff. But fix it asap before we send you a large bill for lost sales.

Sorry for the frustration, @baronec. The banner is there for GDPR compliance. What is the name of your website? The banner should disappear after the visitor clicks Accept or when they navigate to a new page.

It's 2019 and this issue is still happening!! - cookie banner appears on every page of my website regardless of whether user has clicked Ok or not! Can't turn off the cookie banner so HOW DO I FIX THIS?

Is it because I have custom cookie notice in my settings? If so there doesn't seem to be any way to remove that either. Please help!

I'm on Chrome and accepted cookies. Once I did the banner went away and is not showing up on any pages. Which browser are you seeing the issue on @nigelberm?

I'm also Using Chrome and don't have this issue myself. The problem has been reported to me by several others - I do not know what browser they are using.
