Checkout Button is not completely showing

I have an issue where the CHECK OUT Button is noit being fully displayed. It is only partially displayed.  It works fine, just does not look right.  Below is a screen shot.  Any idea how to fix this?  Thanks!

Hiya! I can't recall if I've ever brought up your custom theme... but this is most likely the reason the button is cut off. Or, it could be that you are on an older theme. Do you remember what you changed in the html/css area? I was going to try to recreate the checkout page, but your shop buttons are not working on the meat market page. If it were me, I would make a copy of the site and practice out a new theme on the copy site. The new themes look way different than the old themes so you might not like the change at first. Overall, though, it really would be best for you to be on newer theme as opposed to an older (and custom) theme.

So the only way to fix the button issue is to use a new theme?  I really like the look and layout of our current theme.  

I have looked at some of the new themes, but there is nothing that is close to our current theme.  Is it possible to "update" our current theme to a new style to make it work?

I am really hoping we can make something work with the same look.

Hi Pete. Do you remember what you changed in the html/css area? It's possible it's just the custom code that is causing the error. The newer themes are meant to just be a starting off point for the site. In fact, if you were to copy and switch the copy theme, you will see that all of your content remains and then it would just be a matter of stylizing the site to give it the look you want. Adding background images, and sections, etc will help you get the site to look more like the original.

I have no idea what was changed in the html/css area. It has been a number of years since we originally launched the site.  Is there something specific I should look for in the html/css area?  

We are launching our Meat Market tomorrow and really need to get the button fixed.  Thanks!

Did you make a copy of the site? I think I may have found your original theme if you want to try applying it to the copy site. NOTE: Before you apply this theme to the copy site you will want to RENAME the copy site from Settings>Site Title. Make sure the site title to something like COPY! in all caps so that you don't apply the theme to the wrong site. https://www.weebly.com/themes/theme/206221157262036885/

You can "preview" first, but I'm pretty sure this is the correct theme. You may need to rebuild the header areas (as with any theme switch) But if you apply this theme to your copy site, you can at least determine if it is the custom code that is preventing the buttons from working.

Yes, that looks like the theme I am using now.  I made a duplicate site, and applied theme, and the buttons appear to work.  I cannot see the checkout button, as I cannot actually buy anything.

I am also having a problem with our order confirmation page just hanging up once an order is completed, and does not provide a link or anyway to get back to the main site.  Lastly, has the issue with the "Continue Shopping" link always going to the main/home page been fixed?

Hi @fireman_pete The product you have linked is for pick-up only, but you have not setup your pickup preferences for the copy site.

@Bernadette , I set-up Pick up for the store copy, and that is working now.  For the order confirmaton page, it is for the current live site.  Here is a screenshot of what is happening  THANK YOU!

I don't think that's the issue, but usually custom themes do not interfere with the checkout screen. However, in this case, it does appear that something in the custom code is preventing that "Continue Shopping" button to load. I did not experience the same loading screen on the test site. 😕
