My website checkout page just reads this message below at check out page, once you ad an item to the cart

Some of the items in your cart have different available fulfillment methods. You must purchase these items separately.

why is this ?

That message means that the cart contained at least one item that is pickup-only and one that is shipping-only. When that happens you'll see that message since you can place an order that where the items both exclude the other type of fulfillment.

Hmm.. that is strange. What products did you add to the cart where you saw that, and on which of your sites?
