Category Pics/Links on Homepage. How?

I just started my new store. Im currently with BigCommerce but thinking about moving my store over to weebly now that Square owns it.  I love integration.  Anyways, being new I may be missing something.  I am able to add product sections to the frontpage with individual products in each of the boxes but how do I add categories?

For instance,

I want a header at top with large picture. Under that I want 5 or 6 boxes maybe similar to the product section layouts that we can put categories in.  Can this be done?  Am I missing something?

I believe the type of page you are referring to is the Shop All page. It will list the categories and choosing the category will display the items within each category. It sounds like you want to display clickable images of the categories that will redirect the user to a new page?

Hi this is what i would like to do (put category pictures on the homepage which links to the categories) please can you help me as i need this done asap and i pay for a business plan. Also i cant use the app centre or even add a simple button to my website which is frustrating as i thought this would be possible with the business plan that i pay for.

I'm sorry for the frustration. The new editor doesn't have access to the app center, but you can use the Embed section as a work around. What type of app are you wanting to add? What kind of button are you trying to add?

I'm pretty positive there's a work-around to adding categories the way you are describing, and I'm checking in with some of our new editor experts. I'll followup with you asap and I appreciate your patience in advance.

Just wanted to let you know the rep I wanted to speak with was not in today. Did you get my message about the app center? What type of app are you wanting to add to the site? You might be able to use the Embed Section instead.
