Cart trial with Stripe using Test Credit Card

Hi,

im testing my cart before going live with stripe payment.  Got the test card details from Stripe and has change the mode on Stripe dashboard to test but at the payment section, the card was reject saying that its a test card but Im on a live system or something like that.

does anyone has experience with such trial? do i have to do something with my site to be able to do the trial test?

We used a genuine credit card and bought something small just to make sure it would work in the real environment - I dont trust test cards as its not a true customer. I would always advise running through a purchase with a real card and using the paypal option - just for peace of mind! Better still get a friend to do the tests and that way they can point out the checkout issues and trust me Weebly is not the most straightforward of checkouts unfortunately, although useable!

because we are doing also various integration testing that include 3rd party fulfillment, its very difficult to have to keep using actual credit card for payment.

the trial is not just for payment, but system integration, thats why we definitely need the test environment to be able to work with the test payment card.
