Modify Footer Width

I am in the process of re-vamping and re-designing my entire site. I need the footer to be the same expanded witdth as the rest of my site instead of how it appears now. I tried to edit the HTML but no dice - nothing changed. Went in to edit the HTML in STYLES - footer.less, but again no change after playing around with the numbers.

The footer is a large area of the site...starts with the block quotes and logo and goes to the bottom of the site.

Hi there. Did you publish and check the live site after making changes? Sometimes edited code will not show in the editor, but will work on the live site. 

I'm not able to assist with editing code, unfortunately, but perhaps another user on here will have a suggestion for you. 😊
