Why are weebly deleting alt text on every picture we upload. We uploaded 10.000 with good seo text in it, just to have weebly delete it and call it something like 1038593284, wow thats really good seo alt text for a selling website, NOOOOOT.
This have been a problem for over 4 years now, this is commen practice in almost every other web platform out there.
But for over 4 years weebly are considering this, are weebly develepment dead, did they stop making weebly up tp date with way enternet works tooday. So many simple things taht are must for websites tooday weebly do not have, Why is this, are they closing shop, just asking, because it looks like it if you go trough this forum, nothing is happening, and nothing to look forward to with weebly.

We have been putting tekst in product pictures for many years, Just fund out that weebly deletes picture tekst VERY BAD SEO, why are you doing that, what are the point???? Really dont understand, another reason why weebly is not for selling think on, and why we are considering moving yet again, weebly is lacking many simple things all other platforms has because it is elementary tooday.

What were you uploading those images to, @pmt? We made a change a while back to retain the filename of images after uploading, although other meta data may not be kept.

Hi adam
For all product pictures are name something like 395845848409, when you look in html kode, instead of good seo text, you put in them so google and disablel people can read the pictures. If google can not read product pictures, why list them, this is a ranking problem weebly has been aware of in over 4 years, why havent this been solved, this is elementary in almost every other platform builder out there. there must be a reason why weebly has´nt done this by now, quistion is why, are weebly develement dead???
