Hi,
Since we all know that page speed is a ranking factor and it helps reduce bounce rate, I was just wondering if the team was planning to do something about this.
I really love Weebly and I think it's awesome. The only downside is the bad page loading speed. I got a score of 5 in the Google mobile speed test. That's terrible.
Unlike other bloggers, I don't want to switch to WP and I want to support you guys so is there anything I can do / you plan to do - about page speed? Thank you

One thing you could try doing is this, @RafikGk:
1. Sign up for a new account and say you want to sell online (you don't need to if you want to - this will just dictate which website editor you get, which in this case is the new one).
2. Recreate the homepage of your site
3. Publish that and see how that performs with a page speed test by comparison
I think you'll get a much better speed rating with a site built using the newer website editor. If do you, we can help move over any paid services to that account site for you.

Hi Adam,
Regarding the new website editor you referred to - are there any plans to migrate existing paid Weebly accounts to it at any point? Or do we need to make specific requests? I would be very interested in doing this, if it is faster, so would be grateful to hear back on what I need to do.
Recreating my home page is a bit tricky as I would have to re-purchase a bunch of Apps again etc just on the off-chance it would be better so it's not an ideal option. I would be grateful to hear your thoughts on this,
Many thanks,

I don't have any information yet on that, although that might change @Re-Made. For now you'll need to make a new account and choose the option that you want to sell online during signup. The Square Online editor does not support apps from the Weebly App Center at this time (although you may be able to take advantage of apps in the Square App Marketplace depending on what you need).

Thanks Adam - I will keep an eye on things. It doesn't look like an alternative at the moment as I depend heavily on Octomono Apps for example which I can't see in the new site editor App library, but fingers crossed that will change in the future.
