Where do I put my domain name

Hi guys. 

I have an existing domain name registered elsewhere.  So upon clicking Publish, I selected the option to change the DNS settings myself via the domain registrar. Weebly has just given me the IP address I need to point to. i just see on other weebly accounts after they hit the publish button this box comes up to put in the name of the website, but by me this never happened. also I see on other accounts on the settings page on the to it has an option to put in the website domain, but on my settings page its not there. I AM IN THE DARK HERE CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME??

Is this a designer client site? The flow for changing that is a little different. What domain name did you change it to? I should be able to look up the IP address for you.

it is a designer client site. I think that I was successful in pointing the site to weebly but when I go to change it on weebly settings I can't find the "change site name" field. PLEASE HELP! (I've been working on this for days!)

It's a little different for client sites. From your designer dashboard, go to Websites, click on the client site to bring up the dashboard page for that site, then click on the "..." button over to the right. You should see a "change site domain" option to change the site address.
