I have just noticed that I can now sell hidden products to those who have a link. But how do I do that!?

Hi @mountainclay. It looks like the new product interface makes it a bit more difficult to get that direct link. I'm going to check with the team and will follow up with you as soon as I can. In the meantime, the work around would be to create the product as available, find the product on the live site via search or by adding to one of your pages, copying the link, then going back to the product and hiding it.

Sorry I don't understand how to do this. I did end up making a members page for early access to my products and made it password protected, but I don't know why but now anyone can see this page..!? The password is there but not working. I just want a page where I can have exclusives for those on my email list.

Try quitting and re-opening your browser, @mountainclay. If you entered the password once and didn't quit your browser, you won't get prompted to enter it again until the session ends (closing the browser, basically).

Hi @jvarv11 Before you mark the product as hidden you will need to copy the url from the live site. Apologies if that is not more clear in the editor.

can you guys fix this? on shopify there is abutton when i am making the product it takes me to the live page. Here i need to unhide publish get the link hide it again and republish, its such a pain to get any link to my hidden products. I need the link customers ask me for them, what good is a product if i cant send the link, but it takes me 5 minutes each time to get the link. what a mess.

Hi @allisona As far as I know you still have to create the product and copy the link from the live site. I'll see if I can get a followup on this, though.

Oh my gosh, I just tried to do this and it is still not fixed. It seems it has been an issue for nearly 2 years. When is it going to be fixed? How hard can it be?

This is highly unintuitive and inefficient. Proof in point, I had to perform a Google search, find this thread, and then read it to understand something that should just exist on the item's shop page by default. In addition, it creates a weird scenario where someone could potentially buy a "hidden" item when otherwise not permitted.

I literally have the exact same feeling, and was reading through all the comments before planning to pretty much say exactly what you just said. I have seasonal items I'm preparing to release on a specific date and need to link some of the items together (suggested bundles, etc.) and essentially have to release everything on the site in advance just so I can create those links in the descriptions. SUPER unhelpful. Hopefully this will get fixed soon -- it seems like it should be an easy enough thing to do, but what do I know.
