Hi
I have tried several different ways to get a simple page jump to work using the "custom html" box.
I went with the standard:
<A HREF="#codeword">Blue Words, Blue Words</A>
<A NAME="codeword">
(I hope that the above is showing and are not converted to html)
When I click the link (Blue Words, Blue Words) it registers in the adress bar. it goes from:
http://mysitename.weebly.com/the-page-im-on.html
to
http://mysitename.weebly.com/the-page-im-on.html#codeword
But there is no pagejump, the only thing that changes is the adress.
I have tried using CAPITAL letters and lowercase letters, I have tried different reference words all to no avail.
I have gotten it to work in the past, and according to this page:
https://hc.weebly.com/hc/en-us/articles/203905186-Create-Anchor-Links#top
it should work, So what am I doing wrong?

Sorry to hear you're having trouble, @DetKalder. Is this in Chrome where you see this? Try using this for your anchor code:
<a name="codeword" id="codeword"> </a>
Some browsers are a little fussy when it comes to anchor tags, either due to browser bugs or different implementations.

Thanks for the new code. It worked for Chrome. The one in your tutorial did not work. I can get it to work on an anchor on the same page but it is possible to jump to a certain place on a different page?

Hi @Condoleeza Yes, the instructions should be the same if you are using the original editor. You just need to enter the correct page URL. What is the name of the site and page you are trying edit?
