I am a small volume private individual who has set up a website to showcase things to like minded people. I'm not running this as a business and make no money from anything on my site. I would really like to have a 'membership' concept where my followers could sign up to receive newsletters I produce telling them the latest news.
If I was running a business using this for marketing campaigns I can see that the money to upgrade to a Pro or Business account and using the Promote services would be money well spent. However, since this is only a 'fun' project I need to be careful about how much I put into this financially.
Does anybody here have any tips on how I might do this and be able to send out newsletters to, in reality, a handful of people rather than the kind mailblasting to hundreds or thousands of recipients that Promte is designed for?

@KimW: Have you considered creating a 'group' in your gmail or outlook accounts for those handful of people and sending them e-mails whenever you wish?

Hi Boba Fett,
Thanks a lot for your feedback and suggestion. That is indeed what I have ended up doing, I was just wondering if there was a way within Weebly I could have done it as it would have been so much cleaner.
But thanks very much

To do it within Weebly you'd want to look into using Promote:

Hi Deb,
I'm afraid I couldn't find any way to do this within Weebly, at least on the 'free' package I'm on. So, what I ended up doing was creating a Contact page on my site and have people send me their email address if they wanted to be alerted to new items I post. I then created a group in my mail system, added anyone's name who filled in a contact form to the group, and now I just send an email to that group, including a link to the appropriate new page, whenever I want to tell people that something new has been added.
Hope that helps
Kim
