How do I make Slide Show images display Full Screen?

Hello,

I am rather frustrated with Weebly and how the Slide Show function works. I am trying to use it to show off my Photos but disapointed with the size that they display.

I am a photographer and the images are plenty big to display sharply at a larger size but the way the Weebly Slide Show widget words they aren't that big and they also launch on top of the page below it making it even more distracting.

I know I can have individual images launch in a new window but thats not very user friendly for obvious reasons.

Curious to know if there is a way to launch the Slide show Full Screen or how others have tackled this? This seems like a must have function for any Artist or Photographer. Hopefully I am just missing something.

Any insights would be much apprecaited. I am about to pull the Weebly Plug if I can't figure out a way to make this work better to show off my images.

Sorry to hear that, Hank. We have some third party slideshow and gallery options in our App Center. It might be worth checking those out to see if they work better for you:

Really can't believe this isn't possible. So many of Weebly customers are creatives and yet the image dislay options are really feeble. I just want a slideshow that shows full height images with a plain background and the option for thumbnails Really easy to see on countless other platforms but not on Weebly - and there's nothing in the App entre to address it - despite many community requests. Not terribly good and I may have to move all my sites to Wordpress if no solution is possibe. How can you say that Weebly is great for Photographers when we are unable to display our work properly - even via a 3rd party app.

I haven't tried any of the third party apps myself, but I thought one of them did this.

I agree, I am a Photographer and picked Weebly because it's easy to use but it's really limited for creative types. Combine this with them removing old themes, and lack of new Themes is really dissapointing. 

You'd think Full Size Slide Shows would be a no-brainer for a company trying to promote people building their own websites. Even facebok allows you to Expand a slideshow to view it full screen...

There hasn't been any major changes to the Slideshow app for a while, @morgankei. We do have some third party solutions in the App Center:

Strongy agreed. I am an artist, and been frustrated by the fact that Weebly does not offer full screen function... This is something Weebly needs to resolve because for all visual artists it is really important show our works in full screen!!!

Could not agree more! Two years are gone by and still not possible to display full screen slideshow!! Cannot believe it!

Hey @weebly when are you going to provide a solution for your customers on this issue?

This is bolier plate expectations these days.

Can someone please give us an answer on when Weebly will include an option for displaying images Full Screen already? And NO, we don't want to buy someone elses App, we already bought your tool.

Please help, its 2020 and this is basic stuff...
