Executable file seems to pick up Trojan malware somewhere between upload and download.

I've written a program in Visual Basic (5.0) and made an executable (xxx.exe) file of it.
I click on it to run, and it runs, no problem.
I upload it to my Weebly page.
I download it (by Firefox)* to see what the user will experience.
I click to run it and I get messages from Windows Security:
"Active threats have not been remediated and are running on your device."
"Threat detected: Trojan:Win32/Azden.A!cl".
Etc.
In the past I have uploaded the xxx.exe file, downloaded it, and run with no problem.
But now, this Trojan comes with it and it refuses to run.
Any suggestions?

@Leezinho

What happens if you use an alternate browser such as Chrome instead?

How can we have a dialog if my Reply to your Reply doesn't show up in a continuation of the thread?

Sorry, my previous 2 or 3 posts didn't show up as part of a thread.

Chrome refused to download my file, informing me that it had a virus.

Microsoft Edge downloaded it, then detected the virus and deleted it from my Downloads folder.

Okay, evidently it is not Weebly's problem.  I uploaded the xxx.exe file to another server, and when I tried to download it I got the same virus messages.  I will take this question to a Visual Basic forum.  Thanks for your attention.
