Blog Categories on mobile version of page

Hi!

I know that most people these days are viewing the mobile version of my site. I noticed on my blog page that the Categories list shows up all the way at the bottom of the page on the mobile view, which isn't very convenient for navigating. If I didn't know it was there, I probably would give up scrolling before I got to it.

It's not possible to change this right now, as the only place to add Categories to the blog post is to the right of the blog on the desktop version. I'd like to have the option of having the categories show up to the left of the desktop site so that it shows up on top of the page on the mobile version.

Thanks for the suggestion, @marnijoyce. Could you post that to our Vote on Features board? The only way to change it right now would be to customize the theme, and I'm sure others would appreciate a non-coding solution.

Hi! 

I keep going back to this and thinking I'd like to fix it through code. Is there an easy way to do this? I know the last time I tried to fix something through code (adding zoom to pictures), it ended up being not simple because of the way the code is broken up in the editor.  Any chance there's a simple fix to moving the blog Categories left?

If not, all good. It's just something that really has been bugging me.

I don't think it would be an easy fix, but I could be wrong. Although I'm not able to directly assist with custom code there may be someone on her that has an idea. I would also suggest checking out the App Center!

I know this is an old post but I'm hoping to bump it up again as I am having the same issue/need. Has there been any headway on this now in 2020 that I may have missed?

There haven't been any changes to this, @hdavis01, so the only possible solution I know of is to do some CSS customization.
