Weebly customer service

A few days ago I discovered that the slide show in my website is not being presented online.  WhenI inquired, I was told my theme is outdated and I must convert to a new, current theme.  At first, I didn't quarrel about the fact that I was not informed of this in advance, so I don't know how long it was not presenting my slide show.

 

Regarding the conversion, I was told that no content would be lost when choosing a new there,  That has turned out to be false:  I lost all 74 slides and the slide show element itself.  I also lost all the text the the header section of any pages that have such a header.  Beyond that, the color of many of my text elements became invisible in the new theme and one important element, the title of my web site, cannot be edited for its color in order for it to be visible at all.

 

When exploring new themes, I encountered a page that informed me of the cost of upgrading to a "Pro" plan.  I am already paying for a Professional site, so I asked if the conversion to a new theme is for some reason going to charge me a second upgrade charge.   I received 3 kinds of responses to this question:  (1) ignored the question  (2) told me yes, there is a charge and (3) told me no, there will be not be a charge.

 

Most egregious is the fact that Square/Weebly kicks my email messages around to various people who all begin their reply with no knowledge of the previous communication.  I have heard from:

  • Sergio (several times, each time a canned reply as if we never communicated before)
  • Eduardo
  • Ana
  • Christine
  • Josh
  • a general, unnamed person

They told me to write something in the community, so I have now done so.  Will it result in anything positive?  Doubtful.
