Weebly is a rip off

Hi all.  Wanted to share a frustration with you.  I was working on edits with my site, ones I was not happy with.  So I did not publish and closed out, figuring these would go away as I didn't "save or publish".  I went in later to work on the site and found I was prompted to work on that draft I earlier closed out of and figured would be discarded.  I can confirm the "published" website available online was good.  I couldn't find any info on what was going on.  Contacted support three times and was told this is it.  I am stuck having to go back, edit my offline version of the site back to the "published" version online, and then make the other edits I wanted to work on.  This is crazy.  Especially since they say if you delete your account they can reinstate it.  How can one thing sounding more complicated be an option and not what seems easier.  Also, I copied my site (the one I like) but because it downloaded it, they cannot upload it.

So being very unhappy with Weebly I asked for the senior customer service manager to close the account and get a partial refund.  Oh sorry, not happening.  That is really lame.  So for all the good press I gave Weebly, I promise they will get the exact opposite to everyone I meet regarding their service.  Congrats Weebly and happy 4th, I won't forget it.

I'm truly sorry for the frustration @D1S. The editor saves in real time which can be both a good and bad thing. I'm also sorry about the refund. It looks like the plan was purchased over a year ago which is outside of our refund window. Going forward I would suggest making a copy of the page you are trying to edit. This way if something doesn't work out right you can swap it out for the original copy. Apologies again for the troubles. Let us know if there's anything we can help you with edit wise.
