Site won't enable SSL for user ID 129077552 when I used 199.34.228.59. SSL is asking IP to end in 70

Attention Adam, Bernadette and Community,  I published a website, User ID 129077552 and used IP address in the A record to 199.34.228.59, however when I go to enable to the SSL for the site in Weebly, Weebly asked me to point the A record to 199.34.228.70 which I have done since it asked me to from IP ending in 59. When I go to enable the SSL, it gives me a certificate error with the updated IP address which SSL which instructed me to change it from ending in 59 to 70 for the IP address. The website propagated fine to the new IP address 199.34.228.70. Why is Weebly asking me to use a different IP address ending in 70 from when I initially had it pointing to 199.34.228.59 and now the SSL won't enable on the updated IP address and gives me a certificate error with the updated IP address the SSL security certificate asked for? I waited for the updated propagation to finish by using DNS checker.

Why is this happening? Please can you enable SSL for this site. Thanks.

Regards,

Michaeimage

I updated the A record to point to 199.34.228.70 and propagated fine but when I try and enable SSL for User ID 129077552, it gives me an SSL error. It says error encountered creating certificate. I updated the IP address from 199.34.228.59 to 199.34.228.70 as when initially enabling SSL, it instructed me to update the A record to 199.34.228.70 and now it wont generate as an error occurs when I click enable SSL. Please enable the SSL for me for this site, www.gretapreschool.com.au

Please see screen shot attached.

Hey! It looks like the domain has a AAAA record, which will prevent issuing a certificate:

gretapreschool.com.au.    AAAA.    2404:8280:a222:bbbb:bba1:87:ffff:ffff

Try removing that record, giving it a few hours or so to propagate, then enable SSL again.

Hi Adam, thanks for the reply. Yes, Weebly support informed me to do this and site is live. Seems that when enabeling SSL, you need to change the IP adress in the A record. Mine ended in 177 which isn't in Weebly's Edit Zone records. I went to look up that IP and is obviously a Weebly IP address, but isn't mentioned as one of Weebly's IP addresses.

Thanks for your help Adam.

Regards,

Michael
