Eventbrite app issue and workaround

Our nonprofit uses Eventbrite for registration for our events. Until this week we have had very good results from the Eventbrite Weebly app, using it in agenda view to show upcoming scheduled events, with a registration button. But now apparently the security certificate has expired and we are having difficulty getting through to Eventbrite or to the third-party builder of the app for any kind of support. 

I drilled down into the warning message  so was able to choose to trust the app anyway. That allows me to see our events when logged in, but no site visitor can. I've now used screenshots of the next two events, added titles, and created a Register button for each. I've linked those to the events in Eventbrite. The workaround is working well, BUT it should not be necessary. I should have been able to get help after contacting the app developer 3-4 times.

Eventbrite has no phone support, at least not at the free level, and we have not gotten any help there. Weebly had us delete and reinstall the app. Site visitors still can't see it, but luckily I can after trusting it.

Any recommendations besides what I've done so far?

Does JotForm allow your organization's Eventbrite events to populate on your Weebly site? I couldn't figure out how that might be done.

We are using Eventbrite to manage all our events. The Eventbrite app fed the date, a photo, and summary of each event to our site, along with a Register button that took viewers to the event in Eventbrite. We hope to get as close to those tasks as possible.

I have not succeeded in getting any information on the Eventbrite app for upcoming events, in spite of repeated tries with Weebly and Eventbrite over the last week. However today I did a google search for more and came up with this discouraging info on WordPress. I assume what they call a widget is the same as the app on Weebly. I've checked and have come up with less satisfactory alternatives. I'd like to call for Eventbrite to reconsider and continue supporting the Eventbrite Upcoming Events calendar app in Weebly and its equivalent on other platforms. It did everything we needed and did them automatically: auto integration with our website when events were published, a photo and summary, a register button that took visitors straight to the event on Eventbrite.

The work-around will not work after the February 2020 according to the info on WordPress.

So far I've found an app (Events Calendar by Inlight Labs) that will list details, but no pictures, no summary, and an easy-to-overlook link to Eventbrite. So much less interesting and not nearly as helpful for promoting our events.

Then there are some ways to manually insert embed code for each event of ours. (https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articles/en_US/How_To/how-to-sell-eventbrite-tickets-registration...) One of them doesn't take visitors to Eventbrite to read more, the other does. 

I hope no one else wastes time on dead ends like I have. 

Weebly, I hope you will strongly encourage Eventbrite to resume support of the app.

I checked with our app team and it looks like they're aware of the issue with the Evenbrite app and are investigating. Hopefully they figure out a solution soon, or if the app is being deprecated by Eventbrite then we'll get official confirmation of that.

Hi there. I checked in with out app team and they let me know the app should be working properly again. What kind of errors do you see at the moment?
