Dashboards should provide useful info - BUT the Weebly dashboard does not.

I'm NOT using the new dashboard because

  1. if I approve a comment on an email sent to me (while I am logged in) it no longer publishes
  2. trying to find where the blog comments are to approve them is virtually impossible
  3. Blog comments which are not yet reviewed are not highlighted (pending means not approved rather than not yet viewed - two different things)
  4. I can't see all my websites on the front page of the dashboard - and there's nothing to indicate where the others are
  5. what's the point of taking up space with Weebly statistics when they are so far adrift from Google Analytics? I know which stats I trust and it's certainly not Weebly's!!  (If you want evidence I can give it you!)

This is the third dashboard I've seen since moving my content to Weebly and they just seem to get worse and worse from the perspective of a multiple website owner who frankly does not have the time to go three layers down to find a comment to approve!

When is somebody going to design a dashboard and navigation around the site from the point of view of

  • a power user with multiple websites who does not have time to waste
  • and a newbie who doesn't have a clue where things are?

This dashboard satisfies neither.

Please give the dashboard landing page some more USEFUL CONTENT (eg new comments waiting for approval) rather than confusing people and hiding critical content deep in the dashboard!

Ouch. Interested to hear your general thoughts on the platform (and other changes) during your time. We're newcomers (via Square) and have already experienced Weeblys quirks and shortcomings - which feels like a massive understatement with the amount of focus given to the "new/improved" platform.

I'm not noticing ANY improvements apart from the fact I can now identify spam when a comment is emailed to me for approval. But given the comments are not being approved I guess there's a fair chance the spam is going unremarked as well.

What I do notice is that you wiped out all my carefully kept past support tickets with the answers to past questions
Plus there is no scope for me to use a ticket to get a response as has happened in the past.

I'm now leaving messages all over your Facebook site instead.....

I also have an extraordinarily slow platform at times. Moving modules on the page or from one page to the next takes forever.

I've actually started to worry that the platform is going to fall over or go bust and am currently starting a plan to make a copy of all pages on all websites since the functionality which creates a copy does precisely nothing in terms of moving content to another website.

I'm getting ready to write a review of websites for artists for my very popular art business website for artists. What shall I say about the fact most now seem to go to Wix?
