Why are education accounts not allowed to use apps?

This makes it harder for our school to organize student participation and get data on the site. 

Is there a resolution in the works?

Hi @iamITtraining I'm not sure of the exact reason why education sites do not have access to the app center.. Is there a particular app you are looking for? Most of the time you can just use the Embed Code element to add third party tools.

I can relate to the question from @iamITtraining. I have a pro-education account for many years that I use for my students and their parents and I co-manage other site on Weebly. There's no Apps tab for my site as there is for the other site, though. I think I can organize my pages better if I could add apps like 'Vertical divider', 'Accordion', 'Back to top' or even 'Tabs'. 

So, again the question:

Why are Apps NOT allowed for education accounts? Or, are they allowed, but I just can't find them? If so, how do I download Apps with my education account?

They are not allowed, @Vale5rova. I'm sorry, I don't know the exact reason why, but as I stated above, you can find duplicate third party apps online and just use the Embed Code element. POWr makes a ton of our apps and you can find them directly on their website, for example.
