Hi all, I hope everyone and family are all fine and healthy!!
I have a small night club, and once we are allowed to resume services, I am sure that cash will probably be less used than it was before .. that said ..
A few questions for the community regarding Square:
- Does the square contactless devices work over WiFi .. (so I can have one terminal in the office and set prices for the devices separately)
- Can I set up the contactless devices to each have a flat rate per tap .. (Example, I have a base $5.00 cover charge, can the reader be set to only be 5.00 per tap)
Please let me know, as I am sure more questions will come up as days go by! Thank you!

To answer your questions:
- Yes you can connect Square Terminal to wifi! Check out these FAQs for important informaiton about connecting the terminal to wifi.
- There isn't a setting to set up a flat rate charge for specific types of payments I'm afraid. You could create an item for $5 though so your staff could easily select the item from the item library before presenting it to the customer to tap their card over. Your staff would have to handle the Terminal, but your customers would not. I hope that helps!
