Weebly Account Paid Plan but Square account has locked website to that account!
Have had a Weebly account for many years but then had to create a Square account when Weebly was acquired by Square. All good but have one email for Weebly and another email for Square.
This was not a problem until recently when my custom domain name was due for renewal with Weebly. This was not done in time so the Weebly website reverted to the free Weebly website name: https://www.hypnosis-and-healing-104362.weebly.com/ and currently shows a 404 Page not found error.
To complicate matters (not intentionally) the domain name was now up for sale and managed to buy it back on the Dynadot platform where my other website domains are held as it makes it easier to manage.
The Dynadot custom domain name is https://www.hypnosisandhealing.org and currently shows a This Site can't be reached error
As custom names cannot be assigned unless there is a paid up plan, I signed up to the Weebly Professional Plan on 17th September for 1 year using the Weebly login.
Now this is where the problem is - The Weebly site allows me to buy a plan but cannot connect the third party (custom) domain name as the Weebly site is reporting there is a Square Online account already assigned to that website.
When I sign into the Square Online account, I get the message that the custom domain name is published but the site is not live.
Is this an issue with not having the correct Name Servers set up with Dynadot to point to the Square Online website? If so, what are they please as I could only find the settings to point to the Weebly website.
This all seems very complex when it should be so simple.

Hi @ellen1976 - sorry to hear you're running into this.
I had a look at your DNS records and it looks like you have eight A records when you should only two that point to Square Online: https://who.is/dns/hypnosisandhealing.org
You will need to remove the excess A records (6 of them):
To manage and make changes to your Square Online domain’s DNS records:
- In your Square Online Overview page, go to Website > Domains.
- Under the domain you want to work with, select Manage > Manage domain.
- Under DNS Records, select Add DNS record to add new ones, or Edit by an existing DNS record to edit or delete it.
You will need to have 2 which point to Square's IP address which is 199.34.228.164 but the range between .164-191 is also accepted.

After you edit your DNS records, please follow for around 24/48 hours for your site to repopulate.

I don't know how many different ways I can say the same thing - my site is not published to the custom domain as, when I try to connect my domain https://www.hypnosisandhealing.org I get asked to pay again to upgrade when I paid for a professional site plan already and have the invoice.
The domain name was purchased from Dynadot - before it expired it had been bought via Weebly (now Square) and the domain had gone back to public sale which I managed to buy back the domain.
Surely someone in accounts can work this one out - there is obviously something going round in circles with the account. Perhaps it is because the domain was originally purchased via Weebly then got expired as I did not renew it in time. Now purchased via Dynadot. Website still there in Weebly (now Square) but the paid for upgrade is not assigned to the website and I keep repeating round in circles trying to get a human to respond 😞

I have just checked and my custom domain is already connected to another Square Online site - the message says to remove it from that site in order to proceed. Sadly I cannot recall what other Square Online site there is.

Found two emails associated with Square accounts - info.therapies@ymail.com which cannot remember the password and ellenwaylett@yahoo.com which is the account that has the Professional Plan.
Currently can only get the site published to https://hypnosis-and-healing-109575.weebly.com/ although after 3 hours have managed to get to the Verify Domain manually rather than auto connect (which keeps asking me to pay to upgrade).
