Website Images

Hi,

I am trying to upload images to my website but when I try to upload them they upload but then do not show! I can it uploaded for 1 second but then it disappears!

Is there an image library or can anyone tell me why this is happening?

Hi @KellyJArt, I'm sorry to hear you're running into this. 

 

Here are the requirements for product images: 

1. Use an image with a 1:1 aspect ratio that’s at least 2,000 x 2,000 pixels large

2. File types for product images in Square Online can be .jpg .png .gif or .spin

3. Image size should be no larger than 25 MB

 

If your photos are meeting the above requirements but you continue seeing a display issue, please unpublish and publish your site. This should sync the latest update you have made including photos. 

 

I also recommend trying the following browser troubleshooting steps:
1. Make sure your browser is up to date.
2. Clear the cache and cookies on your browser. Access the Help menu of your browser to locate step-by-step instructions.
3. Switch to a supported browser, such as Google Chrome, on an alternate device

 

If the above steps don't resolve the issue, please share a link to your Square Online site and I will have a loser look into it.

I have gone on to my site today and all of a sudden, the images are showing incorrectly, if you have a look at the left side in screenshot there is a white frame and the image isn't central with no white frame around like it should be. I have not published any changes and this has just happened over night. I would like to resolve this issue however can you advise what your complaints process is ? Never have I experienced such a poor service from a company, issues self arising which leads to losing Business, issues being logged and being left literally for years.

I can replicate this - it looks like an issue with the ratio of the images. If you didn't make any changes yourself, for this particular case, I'd suggest giving our support team a call directly so that you can get real-time support.
