Veriff account verification

I am having trouble verifying my account with Veriff to accept payments with Square.

When I created my Square account, I entered all the information correctly and my personal information(SSN, home address).

I did not provide business address or anything like that.

I showed ID on Veriff, my drivers license, and took a picture of myself, and it still denied me. I don’t get whats wrong, all the information on my drivers license is correct and up to date. I have tried other methods like passport but it still won’t work.

Hey there @Dipen ,

Thanks for reaching out and sharing your experience. We’re sorry to hear you're having trouble with verification, and we understand how frustrating that can be. Unfortunately, if we’re unable to verify your information, there aren’t any alternative methods for verification. You’ll need to retry the process or explore other platforms. For more insight into why your account may not meet activation requirements, please review the following:

1. Typos or Incorrect Information: Ensure your legal first and last name are entered correctly. If you’ve recently changed your name, try entering your previous name.

2. Business Name Instead of Legal Name: Providing a business name or recently changed name may cause issues. Your legal name is required.

3. Business Address Instead of Home Address: A current home address is necessary. If you’ve moved in the past six months, try using your previous home address.

4. Blurry or Indecipherable Documents: Submit clear and legible documents or photos to avoid delays.

5. Incorrect Social Security Number (SSN) or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN): Double-check that your SSN or ITIN is accurate, even if you're signing up as a business.

If your verification was declined, you have two options to try again:

1. Sign in to your Square Dashboard and repeat the verification process.

2. Locate the "We couldn’t verify your identity" email sent to you, follow the instructions, and select "Verify Identity."

If verification is still unsuccessful, unfortunately, you won’t be able to process payments with Square at this time.
