Users can't back out of customer facing screen despite the settings

Despite setting the permissions for our employees to be able to "back out of customer-facing payment screen" the POS is still requiring a manager PIN to back out of the payment screen before a card is presented.

I am happy to investigate this further. Have you tried rebooting or factory resetting the register? Also, make sure the device is up to date.
