Hi @SeniorSoloExplo. Hotel and other “public” WiFi networks are notorious for limiting/throttling upload bandwidth. They tend to maximize and prioritize download bandwidth because that is what 90% of their customers want and need. Many times, it is possible to get faster service by checking to see if the hotel offers a premium connection. Usually these are reserved for customers who need larger upload bandwidth, usually business customers like you. Unfortunately, that rarely comes for free anywhere. Even 5G mobile networks do this kind of throttling of upload bandwidth, and often the more you upload the slower it gets because you are competing with others trying to do the same thing.
Otherwise, about all you can do is invest in an app or service that will reduce your photo file sizes. Of course, this comes with the trade-off of images that aren’t as perfect, especially in their resolution, as you might wish.
Anyway, 10-15 minutes sounds pretty slow in any case. Have you run a Speedtest on the hotel networks you use to see what upload bandwidth is available? Anything below 10mpbs is going to take a while with photos that large, and anything below 5mbps is going to seem like an eternity. Unfortunately, that is often what hotels offer so you might be stuck with it.
