Transferred domain not connecting

Hi,

I recently transferred my godaddy domain to square. Then it said to connect, but connect does nothing, not saving, says disconnected. I followed steps on dns and it will not save those changes.  I get error codes not secure site and 404 when I go to my site www.cedarlanecreative.com

HI, did you transfer the domain OUT of GoDaddy to Square?  If so, Square needs to process the domain, which can take 5 to 7 business days.

 

If you have access to the domain name within GoDaddy, you can review the steps here for the DNS settings, which can populate within a few hours.

I have successfully transferred the domain. I have already done the verifying. When it came time to connect it, it does not connect.  I get the ssl error then a 404 page error. It took about a week to transfer. This is now a square domain. But, it refuses to connect. I have unpublished and republished my site per threads from here. Nothing works. Now my square site that is the subdomain is also a page error.

HI, since you moved the domain out of GoDaddy, Square needs to receive and process it.  Yes, the subdomain is linked to the domain too.  It can take 5 to 7 business days. 

 

Once the process to move a domain out of the domain provider, the domain is "in process" and it can not be reversed.

I've been waiting 7 days and Square still hasn't processed the domain and I've had no website for a week! How did you get it to work out? Mine still shows error and unsecure website

Sorry to hear you're still having issues with your domain. 

 

Have you tried disconnecting and reconnecting your domain? You can use this Support Article for the steps to do so.
