Transactions routed incorrectly
We have a user that took some payments on their mobile phone however they do not show up in our sales. Going around and around with support has not helped. The only thing that we can see is the last 3 digits of our checking account that was supposedly used. Is there a way to find out the whole number that they used to route these to? None of the transactions were in our batches nor did our bank receive them. It looks like the funds may have gone elsewhere. Thanks

How did the employee get access to take orders on their phone for your square account?
There are several ways:
you signed in with your account credentials
set up a device with a code from the dashboard
I feel like I'm forgetting another option....
Point being, if you didn't authorize the device with your account somehow, then they didn't take the order under your account and likely it's going to their own square account and probably their bank account.
You can check what Location they are signed into. On the phone, go to More, Settings, Account.
This will show you the email set up with the account and other info.
