Team Passcode for shared points of sale
We have Retail Plus and I am editing Team Permissions for times when a device code is used to login.
I want to have the permissions apply to shared points of sale which requires a passcode but it won't let me enter a passcode and won't let me save it without entering a passcode????

You need to use your owner passcode in order to change this setting in the point of sale, also you need to set up a device code to use the team management effectively. Once you set up a device code under your web dashboard and log in with that device code you can use your owner passcode or passcode with full permissions to set the security to require passcodes. Then your individual permission sets will function according to the employee who is logged into the point of sale.
Consider it a security measure to make sure only someone who is supposed to change security settings can.

In the Square for Retail app, under Settings, there is no Security setting to turn Passcodes on. It works on regular Point of Sale settings but not yet on Retail. Waiting on call back from tech support. Any ideas?

Welcome back to The Seller Community.
On the Square for Retail app you can manage the clock in and out setting from devices on the Dashboard.
Square Dashboard > Account & Settings > Devices
But there is not a way to turn on the passcode setting directly from the Retail App, only the Point of Sale app right now. Sorry about any inconvenience!
