Tax report doesn't match item sales or sales summary
The "taxable item sales" on my tax report is slightly higher than the total Net Sales on the item sales and sales summary reports for the same period.
What might be included in taxable item sales but not in my item sales report?

Hi @tekurich, I'm pretty sure this is because of partial (dollar amount) refunds. There's not a way to associate a partial dollar amount refund with specific items because the system can't know which item(s) the partial refund applies to.
Refunds reduce your net sales, but since partial refunds can't be associated with an item your taxable item sales don't decrease.
The difference between itemized refunds vs dollar amount refunds can be a bit annoying, which is why I always try to do itemized refunds so that the tax can be considered.
