Star TSP100 Trueprnt usb printer not being regocnized by squarestand

I have a Star Micronics TSP100 Trueprint USB printer and the Squarestand.  When I plug the printer into the USB block connected to the square stand, it is not recognized by the square register software.

@infoatlasweets @Charob - So sorry to hear about the trouble! Have you already had a chance to try out these troubleshooting steps?:

  • Ensure the USB printer is plugged into an AC outlet.
  • Ensure the USB printer is firmly connected to your Android device via a USB cable and an On-The-Go adapter.
  • Turn your device completely off and then back on.
  • Turn your receipt printer off and unplug all cables. Plug all cables back in and turn the receipt printer on.
  • Make sure the receipt printer is fully plugged in and a roll of paper is in the printer.
  • Delete and re-install the Square Register app.

@Hablasdemi Hmmm that is a bit strange. Usually the troubleshooting resolves connectivity issues with the Receipt Printers. Reach out to our Support Team and they can walk through a few more steps with you.

The printer and the card reader have to be plugged into particular slots on the accessary hum corresponding to how they were plugged in when you first hooked everything up. Try plugging the printer into a different slot on the accessary hub.  I thad the same problem with it not recognizing the card reader because of this.
