Square for Restaurants: New Square Stand wont accept cards with chips

I ordered a new stand and now the chip card reader wont accept cards with chips.  A message says to swipe for payment. 

I use Square for Restaurants.

If this doesn't clear up your issue, you'll need to contact Square's support team on Monday.  To contact them, click here, then scroll to the bottom and click More, then scroll to the bottom of that page and click I Don't See My Issue, then finally click on Call Support.  The next page will give you your Customer Code which you'll need when you call in, and the number to call.
