I have a square stand 2 with an approved/compatible iPad from Verizon. When the iPad (both iPad and square app are updated) and plugged into the stand the screen glitches.
For instance I'll press an on screen button on the iPads Square store and it closes the window and opens a random other window/app/anything. When I unhook the iPad from the stand, everything works perfectly. Plug it back into the stand and it glitches the iPad again.
I've rebooted everything multiple times. App, iPad, etc. Nothing works.
To make a sale we have to unplug the iPad, ring the customer up, then hook it back in and hopefully it lets us take a card and print a receipt...
This really stinks, we paid a lot of money for the stand and iPad, cash register, receipt printer, barcode scanner, etc.
HELP, this is killing my sales!

One thing that I can think of that would cause that would be a bad power supply or a power supply going out. Is it connected to a power strip or surge protector? If so I would swap it out first to see if that fixes it. If not I would contact support and get them to replace the square stand power supply.
One other thing, do you have anything plugged into the USB hub? If so have you tried unplugging them to see if that fixes the problem. One of those items could have a bad power supply and could be trying to pull power from the USB hub, and not allowing the stand to get enough power it needs to operate correctly.
