Our business recently started supporting using Terminal devices for our clients, where previously we had only offered POS iPads before. We are able to successfully complete a purchase with the Terminal, but don't have debit card refunding setup in our system yet. When we went to try to do the refund using the POS app, the app immediately crashed when selecting the Terminal transaction in the list. The app is up to the latest version (5.60) and I can select other transactions not made by the Terminal and view them just fine, but that one transaction continuously causes my Square app to crash over and over again.

Hello Joe,
I've gone through the troubleshooting steps and confirmed that my terminal says its up to date (v4.27.0037). I have not had any issues with the terminal and taking payment. It works perfectly fine as far as I can tell. The issue seems to be with the Square POS app and some sort of incompatibility with the payment JSON that the terminal is generating.
