We recently starting seeing our Square App on our POS iPads stating the session has expired and it is requesting our Square account login credentials along with MFA in order to access the POS application.
The timing of this is very random and often happens when we're busy and need quick access to the app. This creates an issue with an employee who then has to track down me to get past this login screen. We have *never* had this happen in the past and now it's happened about 3 times in the past few weeks. I understand Square Dashboard sessions expire, but the POS sessions never expired before.
It is not tied to when the app updates, either, as the app updated and installed this morning and Square only asked for my employee PIN when I fired it up.
Is there some setting that drives this new 'session expired' behavior requiring the Square Credentials in order to access the POS App?
FWIW, I've seen a couple of things not working correctly recently, so I'm guessing this all may be linked to recent updates to the Square POS app.
I appreciate the help. Hopefully this can be remedied via some settings.
