Sent a co-owner an invite to be editor, when following the link it doesn't work

I recently took over a Weebly site from someone else.

 

I'm the main admin.

 

I am now looking to add co-owner of the site. She created a weebly and square account. When she clicks the invitation link it doesn't give her access to our site, she can only see the non-published website she added as part of sign up process still.

I did send her the invitation link several days ago so it may have expired, but I don't see an option to resend an invitation. I tried deleting her editor and re-adding and it didn't resend.

I'd be happy to help, but I'm not sure if I'm fully following what you've set up. 

 

Was this co-owner added as a team member in your Square Dashboard here? Or was it via the Weebly Dashboard? 

 

Could you send a link to your website here also so that I can take a closer look?

 

I'll keep an eye out for your reply!

Hi @Breffni 

 

Thanks for responding, I had added her in the "Editors" tab in the Weebly website editor.

For context I also added another co-owner via that same "Editors" tab at the same time and he was able to gain access to the site after setting up a Square account.

 

Should I use the Square Dashboard you linked instead?

Hi @RhysS, taking over Breffni here.

I have to ask sorry- but could there be any misspelling in the email address you entered ?

 

If not I would suggest deleting her editor profile and adding it again using a different email address.

 

If for some reasons you're still having difficulties, you will have to contact Weebly's Support Team directly. They'll be able to investigate the issue further and escalate to the appropriate team.

Hi @Lou8 ,

 

The email address should be all correct, she even gave me access to her email address and square account to see if I could figure out what was up and I could find the invitation email and log in.

 

If I add her by a different email address will that still work? Her square account is under the email address I added her as an editor with.

Hi @RhysS

 

Since we don't have access to your account information on the Community, I would suggest contacting Weebly's Support Team directly. They'll be able to take a closer look at your settings, which we can't do on the Community.

 

Would you be able to post back on this thread once your issue has been resolved ? This will help any other sellers who are encoutering the same difficulty.
