Refund failed

Hi. I've refunded a customer and it says refund failed.

I have money in my bank.

I can charge a  customer without a problem so bank is verified. 

Any ideas?

Hi @Antony, thank you for your post. In general, there are a couple of reasons why refunds may failed:

  • It has been more than a year since the payment was processed.
  • There was insufficient funds in the linked account.
  • The direct debit agreement between Square and the bank account has expired or gone out of place.
