Recent issues with Dashboard Log-in, involving ReCAPTCHA

I've noticed, lately, that there's a reCAPTCHA verification required, upon each sign-in attempt made that was not present at all, in the last ~3 years I've used square... 

This has caused issues with sign in, since the Check box doesn't even appear until I attempt to sign in after entering the password. 

For whatever reason, if I get permission to use a client's wifi network while on-site at their location, I am just prompted with a message during sign in "Unable to complete verification, please try again" or something along those lines, and the reCAPTCHA never appears... 

But once I change networks and connect to my hotspot, it reappears, with some rare occasions that it doesn't work when on my hotspot, either... 

It's caused me to take longer to access my square invoicing in order to collect payments from my customers, and I'm not too sure how to stop this from occurring. 

If it makes any sort of difference, I use Adblock and Adguard in my Microsoft Edge Web Browser, which I've attempted to turn off in order to fix this issue, to no avail. 

Question is; What changed, that prompted the need for reCAPTCHA verification to be required upon business-side sign in? Is there any way to circumvent reCAPTCHA authenticator prompts? What can I do if reCAPTCHA just doesn't appear, and I become locked out of my account???

   (There has been, as of the time making this post, 3 different days, within the last 2 weeks where I could not access my account via my Windows 11 lenovo laptop, and was forced to resign to my apple iphone using the invoices application (which never signs me out, thankfully) to access invoicing. This is a hinderance because there are many functions that are unavailable to the iphone app that I need to have access to through the desktop website...)

What @Candlestore says is correct. The captcha on our login page will appear whenever there are network or security discrepancies. Besides VPN, this can also happen whenever you update your browser to a newer version when you log in from a different connection. This can also happen consistently if you have a popup or cookie blocker that would prevent us from storing cookies or cache safely on your computer for future logins.

I just noticed this issue over the weekend.  When I log in to Square MOST of the time I use my desktop computers or by my Square Stands.  Over the weekend I was doing Banking on my laptop and had the VPN on.  I got the same issue you are mentioning where the Captcha never appeared and I got  the message like you "Unable to complete verification, please try again" and You may want to update your password.  I did then I still was getting the message on my Laptop.  I went to the Desktop and got the Captcha before hitting enter and was able to log in.  I realized after changing the password that my VPN may have caused the issue on the Laptop.  My point here is when you log into your customers WiFi system they may be using a VPN or Square is using security that they do not receognize you logging in from that IP address.  The work around I suggest is to just use your Hotspot to log in if you can, or send the invoice before hand to your customer.  With all the scams and hackers I understand square upping security measures but I am with you and never had this issue till this weekend.

Well, I do Send invoices prior to arrival, but given the nature of Auto repair, Many times, invoices need to be altered in cost to accommodate for unplanned labor, or, reduced When Something difficult becomes easy... LOL

Also, this happens regardless of which client's network I borrow. I've even , When connected to hotspot, had my Surf Shark VPN connected & Was able to login normally... Whatever is going On seems random...
