Problem with checkout

Hi,

 

A customer just contacted us via our Etsy site saying she was unable to checkout from our Square/Weebly site.  She went ahead and made the purchase through Etsy, but we'd really rather buyers went through our site!

 

She said that she tried mulitple cards, and none of them would process.

I'd appreciate any of your suggestions-

Is this the first time a customer has reported an issue ? 

What day (date) was the problem encountered ?  Square has a site that tracks issues with their system and reports the status.  It's possible your customer's problem happened during a system event.  You can check this out yourself here.

 

There can be various reasons however, the volunteer Community members here cannot look at how an account is setup or linked to another account.  You may have to start with Etsy Tech Support and then Square's Tech Support.  Most likely Etsy will refer you to Square Tech Support but, it never hurts to ask there first.
