Payment links for multiple items not working

When navigating to 4 items on my square account (4 completely different physical items), I go to create a payment link + QR code for all 4 items.

 

However, it only ever made two links for the first two items. After trying to generate a payment link for the 3rd item, it indicates a success, but the hyperlink it generated is identical to the 2nd item. Therefore, I cannot generate any more payment links for the last two items without them being identical. Screenshots attached.

I tried getting in contact with the Support Team. They were unable to diagnose the issue and recommended just making new items with new payment links. I tried this, and it did not fix the problem. It appears that any item that is attempted to be purchased via a payment link/QR code CANNOT be selected to be picked up locally. It will always default to shipping with no option to change it. I believe this is a bug within square, as the items we are making payment links for do not have shipping as a fulfillment option, only Local pickup.

 

If a customer navigates to our website to the same item, they can only select local pickup. If they use the payment link, they can only select shipping. This is a bug.

Metro Gallery Nebraska here... We are having the same problem, when creating new items (which we have to do daily) if we have to do more than one at a time it will add the same payment link code to the next item. I have had as many a a half a dozen items with the same payment link code. It will sometimes resolve itself after a period of time but most of the time it will just drop the link code. the only way so far we have found around this is to refresh the web page. That is a pain also because Square loads so slow in the first place. We use these payment link codes in our gallery so customers can walk up to any item and get more information and pay for an item without having to wait in line or anything. the just show us a confirmation and give  us the tag that was on the work of art.

This is the response i got from tech support today.

"I understand how frustrating this can be, in this case my best advice is to re-index and re-sync your item library an account so they items can be updated and fix any type of glitches you are facing.

This process can take up to 24 items and is not going to affect the items that you already have." I replied with "that doesn't fix the issue. they replied with, "

I understand your point and I'm really sorry for this inconvenience, the re-index and re-sync can help and I will also escalated this matter so we prevent this kind of issues."
I also asked for a bulk payment code creation.... no luck there either.
 
 So for now refresh the page after the creation of each item and it should help. Hopefully they get this fixed.
