This is very frustrating -- my invoices (and receipts) have an old company email and there does not seem to be a way to change that. Every thing else in my square account has the correct email address.
Also is there a way to have a mailing address included on the invlice? My physical address does not have mail service.

Ok, thanks for confirming. Another area I'd suggest checking out is your Locations Page. The Location itself may have different contact info stored there, and that will carry over to the Invoices too.
Hi @LisaP, sorry to hear about the trouble. Can you provide me with a little more info on where you are seeing the old email address displayed? I'll have a better idea where you can update it. In the meantime, any information showing on your receipts can be edited from your Receipts page. Hopefully that helps, let us know if you're still having any issues!

The incorrect email shows up near the bottom of both the invoice and the receipt, under the business address. I did change the information that I was able to edit on the receipt tab but didn't get rid of the old business email.

Thank you, I had the same situation, and your solution fixed it. I don't have physical locations, so it would not have occurred to look there. Perhaps this info could be moved into the main help sections about invoices, receipts and changing emails.

Dont think I ever used my personal email for anything pertaining to Square. I was surprised to see it at the bottom of the invoice that I just sent and that means it has been on all the other ones I've sent out.

I AM HAVING TROUBLE ON CHANGING E MAIL ADDRESS ON RECURRING INVOICES, I CHANGED IT IN CUSTOMER DIRECTORY BUT IT STILL WILL NOT CHANGE IN THE INVOICE THAT IT SUPPOSED TO SEND OUT EACH MONTH

I am having trouble with this as well. Apparently if you signed up with one email address and then later on end up changing your email address, your invoices will still show the old one. I have contacted Square about this and they claim that it is the first time they are hearing about this issue, meanwhile it’s clearly been an issue for years.

Hi @AddisonsAuto, if you update your email address from the Locations section of your online Square Dashboard all of your invoices (including invoices in recurring series) should show your new email address going forward.
If you've changed your email address but new invoices you've sent still show the old email address call our CS team so they can investigate.

I am having a similar situation occurring on my end. On the locations, receipts, and account page info they all show the email address that I would like but when I signed up with square I had a different email initially. Where I am seeing the outdated email address is when customers book appointment online. I am not getting the email notifications on the current email address only on the old one. How do I change that?

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble receiving notifications for bookings. If the correct email is saved in both Account & Settings and Locations, call our CS support team so they can take a look into your account further.
