Made a sale, swiped card, customer signed... and no sale - transaction shown. I have no information of the customer other than 1st name and time of sale. Is all lost or does square have some data?

I had this happen to me also - here's the thread: https://www.sellercommunity.com/t5/General-Discussion/Missing-transactions/td-p/8930. Response from Square was that there was no way to find record of a transaction that didn't exist. In my case a receipt had printed, which I gave to the customer, so I didn't have the paper trail either
You may be able to find it under Dashbarod > Sales > Transaction Status - as canceled, voided,etc. In my case, the transaction wasn't there.
