JotForm/Square payment error: card_nonce or customer_card_id must be set
I have a JotForm payment form using Square, and payments are processing as they should with all but ONE PERSON so far. I have disconnected, reconnected, checked plugins, had this person try a different card, and she continues to get this error:
PAYMENT ERROR
Either card_nonce or customer_card_id must be set.
Then it tells her to go back and fix it. But she doesn't know what to fix, and neither do I. She has been trying to make a payment for the past 4 days, and nothing shows up in Square, because it never gets that far.
I have Googled it and found only one reference to this type of thing that led me to a javascript posting, and that is definitely not my area of expertise.

I had our API Team take a look at this and it sounds like there is an issue with the card nonce when the charge endpoint is being called.
Since you're using JotForm you'll have to reach out to their Support Team for this issue. 🙂
